The 3 Levels of Being Broke

There are 3 levels of being broke in my opinion. They are sprained, fracture and lastly broke.

SPRAINED: when you have money but not enough to really do anything. You can’t really do anything like shopping for clothes or go anywhere and fully enjoy yourself.
Example- You can go out with your friends but you won’t be able to buy anything to eat when you’re with them. The money you had was enough for your transportation to get where your friends are.

FRACTURED: You have money, sometimes more than you ever really had before but you can’t spend it on what YOU want to spend it on. It either has to go to something else more important than your own fun.
Example- You have $150 but $90 of it has to go to a new Metrocard( if you live in New York City) and the other $60 goes to your phone bill. After you pay both you have no money left and that’s when you become the next level in this 3 step process…

BROKE: You have NO MONEY!!! None at all! You can’t do a damn thing. Can’t even buy a sip of a drink or a crumb of a biscuit. This is the most depressing and stressful level.
Example- I’m sure this needs no explanation. We’ve all been here.
